Look:Just got these last night. I blanched a bit at the price, but promised myself I would send them back if they were not 100% fabulous. They are wonderful! Very tall shaft that actually comes to the knees, but not too wide at the top of the shaft which is always a problem as my legs are slender. I wore them this morning walking in Monterey (sans socks) with my jeans tucked in and not so much as sore spot anywhere. The leather is very soft and gives just the right amount of slouch.
